Another weekend has come and gone and now here we are at
August 31st! This weekend was a pretty, low key weekend. That being
said, my precious, 2 year old human made me both want to cry with frustration
and fall in love with him all over again!
Friday, once we got home from work and school, we were
bathed and in our jammies by 5:45pm. We’d stopped and bought a couple of $5
pizza’s and some orange pop and we dubbed it as a pizza and movie night. It was
really just a “Erin has had enough night and can’t deal with much more”. J
On Saturday morning, we headed to the mall to pick up his
Halloween costume. I bought him Captain America from the Disney store. I gave
him the option of Hulk or Captain America and the Hulk costume scared him, so
CA it was! Lol! We stopped by Crazy 8 with the intentions of just buying tights
to match a dress I had picked up Haylei and ended up buying a whole outfit for
her! She loved it when she saw it hanging up and so I just had to buy it for
her.
When we got home, it was time for Jackson to nap and me
rest! Matt and Haylei went to the motorcycle shop and to Bass Pro. Once Jackson
woke up, we went to WM to get a few things to take to my mom’s for supper. My
siblings were there and we sat out in the driveway and the kids scootered and
rode their bikes. My 13 year old niece
drew tattoos on most of us. She does this freehand and with sharpies! Though
she is getting some Henna to do them.
Sunday morning, I was off to serve in LifeKids, that is
always such a fun time. To see those little faces start to learn about God and
what it means to tell others about Christ, is always such a fun time. The
worship service afterwards was great! After church, we headed to our favorite
Mexican resteraunt and then back home for a nap for Jackson.
We finished the day by playing outside then swimming to cool
off and then checking the cows in the pasture.
